![]() If work allows you to connect to a remote VNC server via port 5900, then you can configure your home router to port forward Port 5900 from the Internet to your Mac Pro. If work will not allow Back-to-My-Mac to work, then things get more complicated. If you already knew this, then maybe it will be helpful to someone else that reads this post. NOTE: The above is just a test you can run at home to show you can do what you want. > vnc:// admin_username which will start a Screen Sharing session with the username you specify. You could use Finder -> Go -> Connect to server. (if you see "Disconnect" instead of "Connect As.", then disconnect and you will be presented with "Connect As."), You can demo this while you are at home, by connecting via the Finder side-bar "Shared" -> Connect As. It would allow you to login to the Admin account, and Mavericks would give you your own virtual screen that would not interfere with the current users (except for your taking up RAM, CPU cycles and disk bandwidth). If you can use Back-to-My-Mac from your personal MacBook, that would be best.
